Lamar  Peters is New York's top Elvis tribute artist.
 He was the first Elvis tribute artist to perform at  B.B. King Blues Club in Times Square in New York City on Aug 17, 2013.
Lamar has toured with the Heart of the King Ambassadors Show Production and has placed top 3 in the Ultimate Elvis Presley tribute contest sponsored by Elvis Presley Enterprises.
The fast paced Ultimate Elvis Tribute Show, takes you back to the best of 1950's Elvis rockabilly and through the 60s, and 70s of Elvis Presley's career.
Lamar is a second generation tribute artist who, like his father Gregg Peters, is very well versed in different as Lamar's father, Gregg Peters, has been a tribute performer for over 40 years in the tri state area

known as "The Tribute King".
Also, special mention to his brother, J.J. Burton, who accompanies him on lead guitar and background vocals. He brings a classy touch with his electrical style that is taken from Elvis concert guitarist, James Burton.
He also plays in Lamar's The Great Pretenders show band.

"Being a tribute performer is very exciting," Lamar says.  "It's like playing a different role every 2 to 3 minutes. I impersonate each artist with the best of my ability."
